Thanks to Ted for his alert “decisive moment” shot of an OG lifeguard responding to a swimmer’s emergency. Keep this up Ted, and you could get a job with “Baywatch.”
We posted a piece this year about CMA rules for the beach including “indecent exposure.”
And see the Blogfinger comment below
GLORIA GAYNOR:
We have a photo of a bikini-clad OG female lifeguard on the boards in 2019. At that time there was no dress code for lifeguards, so take their picture. No one can stop you.
Two summers ago the Asbury Park Press sent one of their best photographers to the OG beach to take photos. He took 50 shots including images of females in bikinis including life guards. Those photos were for sale. As far as we know, no one complained.
This past summer we reported on a photo shoot at our beach of a model in a microscopic suit followed by a photographer. You can see that post. No one from the CMA complained.
We also have a photo of a young woman in a thong walking her dog past Days and the CMA World Headquarters.
The CMA has a long list of rules for their beaches, but the one about indecent dress is not enforced, so Neptune United need not have a demonstration about that. Can you imagine those Sunday morning beach invaders showing up in tiny bathing suits?
