The North End of Ocean Grove has looked like a gulag for many years. We don’t know if or when construction will begin. Paul Goldfinger photo. ©. October 2019. Click to enlarge image.
HURRAY FOR THE RIFF RAFF: “I Know It’s Wrong, But It’s All Right.”
Neptune resident:
I am sure your opinion is popular in Neptune, because OG taxpayers do the heavy lifting by subsidizing Neptune taxpayers, but that opinion doesn’t spill over to OG where many residents think the only thing worse than a bad zoning decision in a historic district is a politician who
approved it.
In this case, that would be Mayor Carol Rizzo.
DERELICT ? beg your pardon ? The WhimsicaL Garden still attracts many visitors. The other areas have been clean (*thanks to my wife and I ) and grass cut.I would NOT like to see an overgrowth of houses, condo’s, and hotel jammed on three acres.
I have no idea how there can be ANY approvals without sub-divisions, blueprints, and property notification within 200 feet of home owners. The whole plan is a joke.
Neptune resident: The only thing worse than a bad decision is no decision. I’ve been in Neptune for 20 years and this area has sat vacant and derelict for longer than that.
It is long overdue to move this forward and improve this north east quadrant of Ocean Grove and the lakefront.
