MaryLou Shipman is a fine artist who has been sending us portraits of dogs and cats for years.
She says, “In honor of the joys of summer in the Grove, what could be happier than a golden doodle? In this case it is ‘Champ’ (in pastel.)”
She wrote this note as the Fourth of July was approaching and she said, “Let’s hope all the dogs (and cats too) will be happy and safe this holiday weekend in spite of the loud, scary firework booms that will occur.”
