No, not that Noah. This is our grandson Noah Goldfinger whom we first saw when he was an image on an ultrasound screen. He’s lately been living out of the country with his parents, but we stay in touch.
Child psychologists say that children retain their memory of grandparents and other relatives even if they are separated in person. All it takes is some face-time to continue that amazing connection, and then when an actual reunion occurs, the love won’t be re-invented.
Noah can now speak in sentences. Here he shows his brilliance as he multi-tasks with one hand waving to us while simultaneously reaching for some popcorn.
Eileen tells him that we will make popcorn together when he returns to Ocean Grove.
Meanwhile he has learned to swim, to pilot a motor boat, ride an electric car, love his preschool teachers, and respect his parents. He has friends from several other countries and he can count in Spanish.
Every once in a while one of our Bloogers (ie someone who reads this blog) asks how Noah is doing. So we will report periodically, but only if the photo is excellent.

“I got a new way to walk
(Walk, walk)
I got a new way to walk
(Walk, walk)
I got a new way to walk
And it makes my spirit shine.”
