We misinformed you on one point, but the news is good. There will be no giant extravaganza in town on the Saturday of our sale, June 18, 2022. This is terrific because we can have the town to ourselves and we can enjoy the company of townies, their guests, and a modest number of tourists. Our advertising will be minimal on purpose.
And help us make this event successful: play music at your sale, offer refreshments and souvenirs, learn a few one-liners, invite some of your strange relatives and friends, and help us promote participation among Grovers.
We have always wanted a small town event for this town sale.
And it will be the Saturday of Father’s Day Sunday. Bring Dad; take him for a stroll or bike ride around our unique and beautiful town, looking its best with June blooms. Dad can find something to buy like a tool, a vinyl record, a baseball glove, and even an Ocean Grove car/fridge magnet at Paul’s house.
It will be great: If you want to join our list, send us an email to Blogfinger@verizon.net Tell us your address and your cross street. We would like your name and email, although we will not post either–unless you want us to give your name. That is best so that when people visit your sale, they can know who you are. You can even send us a photo.
As the sale approaches, one week before, you can send us a list of items for sale. You can join the sale by notifying us up to June 17. And you can add items to your list right up to June 17.
Soon we will post a Yard Sale tab on the top of the home page where the list of participants will live.
