Blogfinger Superhero Theme:
a. Coaster seems to have shifted gears to Long Branch leaving OG in the dust. If you follow their man on the street feature you will see all those Long Branch people and no Grovers. But that’s no big deal since they aren’t too attentive to us anyhow. Maybe we should start a Bartender of the Week segment.
It reminds me of when I complained to the Tri-City News that OG wasn’t among the Tri. They have long made Long Branch one of the Tri along with Red Bank and Asbury. They denied ignoring Ocean Grove, but that is a bald-faced lie or perhaps a bold-face lie.
b. Go to Oceangrove.org for beach badges. Join the CMA “Throngs and Thongs Festival” this summer and learn the “Wash Your Feet Dance” on the OG beach.
c. The Town-Wide Yard Sale will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022. If you want to be on our list, just send me your name, address, email. You can sign up through June17. Get some cash for your trash.
As the date approaches you can send your items-for-sale list . Email: Blogfinger@verizon.net We will go ahead regardless of the number, but it will be better with more addresses. There will be a crowd in town that day for the Craft Show.
d. This former Grover and BF photographer is serving his country. You may remember him: Moe Demby
e. This show may be coming to the Great Auditorium soon. Will Michael Badger approve? It’s for the troops.
f. OCEAN GROVE RESIDENTS: Please be advised: If you are an Ocean Grove resident and have questions with regards to your sewer tax bill, please contact the Ocean Grove Sewerage Authority at 732-775-8705.
g. Spring will be here soon. So how about spending April in Paris?
