    George Held the poet (see his tiny photo above) reminded me that I misspelled France.

    But George, that was intentional to aggravate the French whose WWII army in exile under DeGaulle made Eisenhower crazy.

    Also when I took French in high school, it wasn’t enough to learn vocabulary, but you needed to speak like Parisienne Frenchies. And that accent was more trouble than it was worth.
