    If you recall, a second section of these condos was supposed to be built on the west. A large number of pilings were sunk, but the buildings were never constructed. From what I can make out, the pilings were covered with soil. While the North End condos would not be all that visible from OG, they are not in the architectural tradition of the place. There are three other similar developments from earlier decades in OG that are now viewed as unfortunate in style.
