« Why do I keep complaining about Firemen’s Park? It’s the ugliness, the danger, and the harsh and disgraceful symbolism!
Where is this? Ocean Grove—really? »

Sunset Market hangs in there on a cold autumn morning.

Despite the 35 degrees this morning, Janet, from the Fresh Pik Farms in East Windsor, got up early and set up as she has done for the last twenty years across from Sunset Park. Her son Sam was helping.

Janet  has a nice selection of produce despite the late date.  Even the little tomatoes are quite tasty.

They are open until 1 pm   Plenty of parking.

I asked her what she does in the winter:  she’s a tax accountant; her husband is the farmer in the family.

PINK MARTINI    “Hang On Little Tomato.”
