From deep within
this hollow
shell,
the sea whispers
along a tight
spiral,
passing its secrets
through my ear
canal.

With suffering a feature.
Alas, the fate of a predator,
Departed yet still remains,
Now the prize of a collector
Found in seaside sandy grains.
