Our old friends Jean and John live in a 1930’s era home in the Poconos with views of the Delaware Water Gap. In spring their property comes alive with wonderful flowers and wildlife including deer, bear, all kinds of birds, and sometimes visitors from the Jersey Shore.
Their dog Dotzy (pr Dotsie) is a German Short Hair. She was bred and raised for hunting, but now she hangs around with Jean watching the action below.
Jean was a cardiac nurse at Dover General Hospital and Medical Centerwhere I spent most of my time, and we have been friends since the 1970’s including her husband “Big John.”
