Walking the OG boards. Monmouth County K-9 Unit.

It wasn’t very pleasant at the beachfront as Saturday, April 24, was winding down.  It was cold and not very welcoming, but the Monmouth County K-9 unit was there to get some exercise while keeping an eye out for trouble.  One of the dogs was wearing a gold badge. The officer’s jacket said “Sheriff K-9”

It was reassuring to see them there.  You never know when the police might be needed, and preventive neighborhood patrolling is a proven method to discourage crime.

These are difficult times for police to be doing their jobs.  So we thank this officer, his two assistants and all cops who keep us safe.
