Like most people we know, we are pretty much stuck at home. But Florida has opened up, with precautions. We went with two friends, and the relief to get out was joyful. It was the first time in about a year. But things are starting to normalize, and we should be back in the Grove in a couple of weeks.
As seniors we were put ahead of most others, but we still couldn’t find a shot after trying for a month. Finally we had a chance in Feb, but we had to drive 2 1/2 hours to a Publix supermarket in Tampa. (“Took my girl to Florida and now I’m gonna Tampa with her.”)
Then we had to take the same 5 hour round trip for the second shot. But we were grateful.
