Isn’t it time for Ocean Grove residents to make some demands regarding their quality of life? Why do selfish organizations in town get to define our lifestyles?
We should emulate Bradley Beach and insist that mega-events be reduced or eliminated in our peaceful historic small town. Let our elected officials actually represent us.
Proposal prototype: No big event can be held without the approval of the Neptuner Committee. So how about one mega-event each season for the Chamber of Commercials and one for the Camp Meeting Association —defined as any event that brings more than 1,000 people into town. And that could be a beginning…..
