Wassup in the Grove?

Bernie Haney, our centerfold this week. He is the Neptune Township Assessor and Land Use Boss.  Blogfinger photo.

Bernie’s assessor and zoning team at the Neptune Mother Ship.

a.  Can you believe it?  Monmouth County has not finished counting votes, so we cannot yet tell you how OG voted.

c.  Neptune Police have closed down their substation next to the Thornley Chapel.  Actually they stopped using it one year ago.  Non residents were knocking on the door, buth police do their “paperwork” now in their high tech cars.  There was an arrest recently of someone who was breaking into OG cars, but almost always, it occurred because the car was left unlocked.

d. Emergency responders ask that we all have our house numbers posted so that an arriving emergency vehicle can figure out where you are.

By the way, what does the “Land Use Administrator” do that Board secretaries cannot do?

Just what exactly is it that they do do ?

It would have been good if this anonymous commenter had the good sense to explain to our readers what a “cured ballot” is and what the underbelly of his/her comment is about. Do you think the commenter has an ax to grind?

How can we be finished when Governor’s order says cured ballots will be accepted until 11/20?
