This restaurant is where the old corner pizza place was. Months ago I met the guy who was going to convert it into a burger joint. But now it will be a Victorian Grill. What did the Victorians eat back in the day? We have no idea what will be on this menu. Judging from their sign, the specialty of the house will be exclamation marks.
Jean Bredin says, ” A new restaurant is coming to town. The owner was cordial happy and enthusiastic about the Grill. He said it would be opening in about 3 weeks, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“I look forward to getting my favorite: a hamburger and fries! ”
And they will have “friendly servers.”
So, if you get a job there, better put on a happy face:
TONY BENNETT and ROSIE O’DONNELL:
Excellent food, great staff. The owners went above and beyond for my take out order will definitely order again (A must try)

I went there and stood by the window for like 5 mins, we saw a bearded man in jeans on his phone and didn’t even bother to look at us. My neighbor told me about the place. I was excited I went and I just felt awkward.
This is a new place and the server refused to look up. I wouldn’t recommend it. I have been living here 14 yrs and never came across a place where staff is rude and unwelcoming.
Looks like the owners haven’t figured out what their branding is. The name is Victorian Grill, the window signs look like a tea” shop, and the décor has a retro modern coffee shop look in beachy colors. Have heard hamburgers are on the menu. Maybe this will fill the hamburger void created by Nagle’s closing.
It’s wonderful to have a new casual eatery in OG, but the seating looks very uncomfortable.
