Can it be assumed that Camp Meeting’s current North End “role” is predicated on its escalating ground rental policy ?
On new construction, owners are required to pay: first year–based on construction costs, following nine years–increase every year, final amount–consistent high percentage.
Camp Meeting was challenged legally by condo owners. The owners were set back in court, but at the time determined to continue the fight.
When you add up: Neptune Twp. property taxes, Camp Meeting ground rentals, condo monthly maintenance fees, and beach badges, it comes to a few $$$$ besides
the cost of facility purchase.
(Ground rental not included in real-estate data selling sheets.)
Unfortunately Homeowners Association is still playing handmaiden to Camp Meeting: setting dubious unenforceable requirements for North End construction,
ignoring Master Plan one-family requirement, avoiding impact of additional parking, etc., etc.
