a. Penny and the Quarters perform ‘Moo and Me” from the movie Moo Valentine.
b. The Jersey Shore Arts Center has some big plans, and we Grovers should pay attention. One interesting program is the weekly Café Artiste, a songwriters showcase held every Tuesday at 7 pm in the old JSAC dining hall. The music is live, and there is a light café menu. Admission at the door is $5.00. There also is a theatre group which is active at the JSAC. For more information, here is the web site: www.jerseyshoreartscenter.org

c. At the January 8, 2018 Committee meeting, 3 Committeemen were present—Brantley, Lane and Williams. It was an icy evening, and some could not make it, including our reporter Jack Spratt (who eats no fat.)
As we predicted, the Committee voted not to go forward with the permit parking proposal. It was a lose-lose proposition for them, and they are not afraid of OG voters and residents because we are sissies (defined in the world of political correctness as weak, ineffectual and even feckless.) But they do fear the CMA, the developers and the OGIC (OG Insiders Club.)
Committeewoman Carol Rizzo plans to continue “fighting for permits.” She can’t see any other options, and we agree with her.
We await the reaction of the Home Groaners. They nagged everyone to go to those meetings, but did they really expect approval? They, like the Cowardly Lion, need courage and better intelligence. (in the military sense of the word.) The Groaners must look behind the curtain and tell us what is actually happening behind the scenes at the Mother Ship.
d. Regarding the legal action being brought by the owners of the Warrington site, there is currently a stalemate, with the Township on one side, and the other side on the other side of the street. But wait, Lake Avenue is not a street.
Blogfinger votes for 2 single family homes facing Sea View with beautiful landscaped backyards overlooking the detention/retention basin to the rear—with magnificent views of the scum floating merrily around the lake. Can we say scum on Blogfinger?—why not, we’re doing the typing.
PAUL SIMON with the emmis: (a Yiddish word that means “the truth.”) We need more of that at the Groaners tree house and the Committee’s “transparency.”:
