Hi:    I found this little girl calico on Sept 22 and have not been able to catch her, but she comes for food twice a day. I’m trying to figure out how to get her before it gets too cold. She definitely  is not a stray. She is very clean and talks a lot.  And she is very pretty.  She was found on Pennsylvania and Asbury Avenue in Ocean Grove; and my name is Corey; my email is Coreyclayton3@gmail.com; or my number is 732-693-6516 thank you so much.   I’m sure she is lost. She is very young and friendly and pretty.

Corey

Gorgeous cat. Please find her a full-time Indoor home. There are enough outdoor cats here in Ocean Grove that use our gardens and landscaping as litter boxes. .

I can’t take her in but I will gladly donate food until a home is found for her. Corey…I will e-mail you about this.

Can anyone take this cat in? She is actually maybe six months. I picked her up today. I have cats that wont accept other cats in the house so this one needs a good home. If anyone is interested please contact Information above. And like the cat on Main that was fed every day and found home, if you see a cat and you can afford why not buy one can and feed it. Atleast then you know it ate today. I have seen a starving cat passout in OG. Put water out in the summer, if a cat is talking alot chances are its hungry. Thank you.

    I think it’s my neighbor’s cat. I’ve alerted them.

I had a visit about three weeks ago with Precious the cat from Main Ave. She is in a great home with a few other cats and alot if food, warmth and love. She has a great forever home since July. This cat is not her as i was the one to take the cat off the porch and out of the heat to people that could love her. We wanted but could not contact any owners. With this new Cali i am feeding her, she is out 24/7 she definatley is not an outside cat as noises really scare her so im trying to find her a home as well.

The cat appears to be the same stray that the woman who lived in the white house on Main Avenue used to feed on her front porch and let come into the house during the coldest days of the winter. After a medical emergency that put her the hospital for many weeks, neighbors left food for the cat on the front porch. But the woman has never been able to return home and is now in a nursing home. It appears that the cat has moved on to find other cat lovers in Ocean Grove who are willing to help. It would be an act of kindness if you could find her a home or at least a warm place for the winter.

She has beautiful markings on her face. She looks very healthy and well fed. Perhaps she just comes by your place for an extra snack. I bet she belongs to someone. I have seen many cats on my walks through town and have often thought they were lost. As time goes on I usually find out who they belong to and even learn their names. I’ve made quite a few friends in town that way. People probably think of me as “the crazy cat lady”…lol

She may belong to an elderly woman on Main Ave. (in a white house, not far from the park) who went into the hospital several months ago. If it’s the cat I used to see, she is small, very talkative, and very affectionate. I agree with taking her to the vet to make sure a.) it’s not another cat (who may be microchipped) and b.) that she’s okay, if the woman has not returned home.

If you manage to catch her bring her to a vet or pet shelter such as SPCA . She just might have an ID chip which these places have machine to read . If you/she is lucky you might be able to locate owner . Good Luck .
