Asbury Park continues to improve as the downtown is seeing more residential projects, parking advances and new restaurants.  The project above is down a side street, right off Cookman and across from the Bond Street Bar and Grill.  It already is looking good.   The work is being done by an Ocean Grove company—Sawbucks.

Also, did you know that residents of Asbury Park can buy stickers for $100.00 per year that allows them to park in special reserved zones near where they live.  Gee whiz, how about some imaginative solutions in the Grove like reserved spaces for home owners, at least during peak months.     If we had parking spaces in front of our homes we would have fewer mixed up, shook up girls in the Grove.

Perhaps the HOA would like to look into that, but far be it for Blogfinger to suggest anything from those folks.   Yikes !   —
