A great way to get to NYC from Ocean & Monmouth counties is to take the Sea Streak Ferry out of the Highlands. It is about a 40 minute ride and takes you to two or three ports on the East River then you have plenty of transportation or simply your feet to enjoy the day on this big Island. The Sea Streak Ferry has a web site for more information.
