Note:  For those of you who are wondering about what the Ferris Wheel looked like in that setting, Rich Amole  (Blogfinger staff)  found this photo on the Internet:

THis is from an AP article on Aug 29, 2008:
Asbury Park’s Ferris wheel will rise again.

It’s returning to the Pennsylvania town and foundry where it was built in the 1890s.

Restoring the Phoenix Iron Foundry is part of an effort to revitalize Phoenixville, Pa., as an arts and entertainment zone.

The Schuylkill River Heritage Center is paying $50,000 for the rusted wheel. It will cost another $100,000 to restore it.

The wheel and its cars have been kept in pieces at a golf course in Monmouth County for 10 years. Developer William Sitar brought the wheel back to New Jersey after buying it from a water park and camp ground in Mississippi.

The wheel was sold when Palace Amusements closed in 1989.

So it looks like we lost it a second time.

Do you have any pictures with the ferris wheel? My wife and I loved it.
