Thanks for the mention, Paul. BTW, next Saturday is our first auditorium concert. The Atlantic Wind Ensemble and it is FREE. Stop by and have a frank and a soda. Looking forward to a great season.
Editor’s Note: Fred Ohleth and his merry band of refreshment stand volunteers are out there every Saturday night in season. They are among the heroes of Ocean Grove’s corps of volunteers. Stop by, buy something, and say hi to those steadfast workers.
We have information about the concert in our Wassup section—-PG
JW I think they already sell delicious hot dogs at the Great Auditorium Saturday night concerts. They also sell cold drinks and they make money for the preservation of that amazing building.
Last summer, there was a hot dog vendor–for a while–just outside the south end parking lot. Didn’t look like he was doing much business. Maybe the auditorium crowd would be more amenable to push-cart style food carts.
If a hot dog stand in front for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC is generating a fee, I wonder how much Neptune could get for one in front of the JSAC?
