Saturday, October 26, 2013: At noon today, Ocean Grove Pet Boutique owner Cindy Stiles struggled to organize 47 dogs and 1 cat who were lined up to register for the Halloween Costume Parade. Pets, parents and children crowded into the SE corner of Fireman’s Park in preparation to parade down Main Ave.
Some dogs just watched the parade down Main from the sidewalk- French Bulldog and Bulldog- Jackson and Clay watch the parade pass.
Well over 60 people marched past stores, with townies and visitors showing off their best and most creative Halloween costumes. Store owners stood outside, handing treats to both children and dogs. The parade marched to Central Ave and back to the Park.

Once at the Park, gifts were given to the most creative, scary and dog-owner costumes.
The event was over by 1 pm.

Alexander Gutierrez- vacations in OG every summer– he and his dog Nemo traveled from Piscataway, NJ to join in the festivities.
