“I thought you might want to share with your readers that national songwriter/singer Nicole Atkins has re-recorded her hit single, “Neptune City” in order to raise money for Hurricane Sandy relief charities. Nicole Atkins grew up in Shark River Hills and got her start playing in local bars. Her parent’s house was damaged in the storm. This is a good way not only to donate to hurricane relief but also to bring attention to a talented local artist who is trying to help those who need help.”
