“On Sunday mornings this is a no-fly zone.”
We’d like to introduce Frick and Frack, our two Ocean Grove seagull friends. This cartoon was created by our official cartoonist Sue Gioulis of Ocean Grove. The caption is by Paul, but we would like to find another caption. We may even bring back Frick and Frack on occasion for return engagements and new captions.
So take a chance at winning a prize. Send one caption per comment or email, but you may submit as many individual captions as you wish. Try for funny.
Editor’s note: Thank you for all your entries. The caption above remains number one. The second prize goes to Sol and Morty (see comments.) You still can enter, just for the fun of it. PG
Can you believe this town is dry? No bird baths anywhere. They’ve all been stolen.
“Hungry”? “Trust me, they always come at lunchtime.”
“Just be patient, Ralph. They’ll go in the water soon, then we’ll take their lunch.”
“No, they didn’t wash away. They will be back again in herds, believe me.”
I find it helps if I try to imagine a freshly washed car.
Why change the perfect caption. Should be on the beach badges.
“I once snagged a whole bag of fish crackers. That was a sweet day!”
“Sorry, Bert. We can’t get married here.”
“OK, Ernie. We will head over to Asbury Park”
“They heard my name was Seagull, so they threw me some lox.”
