I thought having the reenactment in O.G. was fantastic. My wife and I with friends enjoyed the encampment on the Pathway having conversation with the North and the South was enjoyable and how they ate and slept was a learning experience. We even met Abe.
The following year they were to come back but Neptune F.D. all of a sudden realized there small camp fire that was encased with stone and well compacted and well observed was a fire hazard and since they couldn’t have camp fires to cook and keep warm during the night they went elsewhere.
The fire martial took alot of heat for acting without just cause. What a shame to lose such an event; it drew thousands of people.
