As for running for mayor–it’s a joke.
Ocean Grove is part of Neptune Twp, and that sort of governance does not allow for citizens to elect a mayor. Instead the title is merely handed down from one Committeeman to another—this is a recipe for abuse and favoritism against the citizens .
OG has no Committeeman who specifically represents the Grove–in other words it is taxation without responsible representation.
