—-a. Pedestrian stop signs are arrayed up and down 4th Avenue in A. Park, but they have been totally removed from Main Avenue in Ocean Grove, suggesting that the Township places more value on the lives of tourists than that of those who actually live in the Grove. Bring back those signs; street crossing on Main is still hazardous!
b. It took Odysseus 10 years to return home after the Trojan Wars. Will it take that long for this coffee shop to open? Rumor is that Neptuner red tape is the issue.
Meanwhile where is the hero of our story hiding? How about a public statement from the owner regarding whether this promised coffee shop will eventually open its door–even a note tacked up like Martin Luther’s.
THE HOT SARDINES: “Zazou”
The pedestrian signs are moved to make it easier to plow snow. They do this every year and often they are sitting on the corner.
Perhaps the signs were removed to facilitate winter snow removal?
Completely agree! Those signs make a real difference. They should be at every cross walk on Main. Come on Neptune! We pay enough taxes. Let’s not cut corners on public safety.
