The yellow tape came down, and people went out on that treacherous pier (including me, but I am a famous war correspondent seeking a Pulitzer) until the police showed up and chased everyone off the pier. PG
To the person with by the house in Bradley Beach, if you haven’t found out already, I’ll check out your house for you. Email me at tcoughlan@verizon.net with your information.
Seriously, those who walked on the pier or who are walking around looking should stop getting in the way and taking risks with your life.
Thank you for posting pictures. We are in NC and have gotten no word on Bradley Beach. We have a house on Ocean Ave near Cliff Ave and have no idea how high the water got. Do you know if water got into homes in North Bradley beach. You are the closest resource we have found. How did Bradley beach just south of Fletcher lake fare? If we could call you please let us know I can give you contact information if it helps..
Thanks so much. I live on the Pathway but am at my home up north Jersey. I am heart sick for all who have suffered through this. Your pictures have helped us so much. I will keep checking your sight. Hope to get down this weekend. Thanks again.
I’ve had only one quick phone call with my parents (who live on Webb Ave) and are elderly. These pictures (and your reporting) answer so many of my questions. Thank you.
Lisa
Thank you! I am comforted even looking at the devastation. My heart goes out to all of you. Jeneba
