RUTGERS WIND ENSEMBLE plays “Air for Band”  (You would think the wind ensemble would have enough air.)

My brother Melvyn Goldfinger majored in neuroscience at Rutgers, but he minored in trombone, a degree that was created just for him. Mel played 8 instruments and even taught himself the viola which he played in a string quartet. He participated in every musical event that he could find at Rutgers in addition to playing Dixieland trombone with “My Father’s Mustache” at some bar in New Brunswick.
