    Paul
Many congrats. As a family with five generations in O.G. it’s great to see a three! When my nieces saw OG the twenty years ago they never stopped wanting to return, many times. Never stop fighting for what we have (had). We appreciate your leadership
    Rick

Editor’s note: Rick—thank you for your kind words. I’m always impressed when I meet individuals whose families have been here for many generations despite our very mobile society. Although change is inevitable, I believe this town has certain attributes which, if defended, would produce a very special place going forward into the 21st century, but it’s not looking good since we have self-interested factions here rather than a real community.

In our articles we like to make reference to the life styles, the history, and the beauty of the town, and maybe that will help. In any case, I find all that to be quite interesting.—Paul @Blogfinger
