Looking at the photo of the police officer confronting those kids in the park, I couldn’t help but recall another confrontation between a policeman and a group of teenagers: That one occurred on the Broadway stage rather than the mean streets of Ocean Grove.  Here is the scene from the movie with Russ Tamblyn.  We have the film quality audio soundtrack recording and a You Tube video below (with less than ideal audio quality.)   —Paul Goldfinger
