a. It was a heat wave outside, but Bonney Read served us warm water. We complained, but instead of bringing out ice water, they brought out ice cubes in a glass. I had to order a cold soda to get a cool drink.
b. Oysters tonight were ridiculously small. Also too salty.
c. We arrived at 5 pm and one of the listed specials was already unavailable. (Swordfish)
d. The fish of the fish and chips was coated in a peculiar tasting and visually unpleasant yellow under-crust. The fish itself was fine. But overall, the dish was a disappointment.
e. The Cesar salad was flat tasting and had inadequate amounts of dressing and shaved parmigiano reggiano cheese..
d. The clam stew was underwhelming.
We usually enjoy our visits to Bonney Read, so we will return, but with caution.
