In 2021, the annual Memorial Parade was cancelled.  Perhaps because of COVID worries, although other events were permitted.

MAY 24—-Neptune  (the town, not the planet) comes throughj and announced a parade. See flier above.

So, get out your red, white, and blue parade gear.  If it is like past parades, it will start in Neptune, stop along the way  (I think at the top of Broadway) and then enter the Grove.

The Neptune Flyers Marching Band will perform   (hooray!!)  to help cheer the folks as they clap for the vets.

Here’s Sousa’s “the Thunderer.”   I discovered it when marching with the Rutherford High Bulldog Marching Band in Rutherford’s only parade each year:  Memorial Day.
