As a kid, I thought that “walk the dog” was a yo-yo trick. No one had dogs where we lived–only yo-yo’s.
Ocean Grove is a great dog town. It’s too bad the census doesn’t include dogs. That would be interesting.
Here a Grover walks her (g.u.= gender uncertain) poodle on Lake Avenue., heading west. A. Park is barely visible. Maybe this French dog thinks he/she is at the River Seine.
C’est vrai–dogs do think and they remember. And people remember too. Women like to sunbathe topless along the Seine. I have the evidence: Kodachrome slides.
This is a foggy wet morning in the Grove,.
Few people are around; just walking in the rain.
But it’s a good time to reflect.
BILLY JOEL: “Just the Way You Are.”
We never could have come this far, mmm
I took the good times, I’ll take the bad times
I’ll take you just the way you are
I hope that some day you consider producing a book using the beautiful pictures you have been taking of Ocean Grove over the years. It would be award winning.

Thanks Kevin. I used to contemplate that, but now I get so many people seeing my images on the Net including on Blogfinger-–much more than look at books. I have been posting my photos on BF since 2009, and that’s a lot of views–over 4 million. “hits.”
But I haven’t totally ruled out the book idea.
It is a thrill to imagine how many people will pick up the actual book “A Waiter in Paris” and will look at my cover photo; that is immensely satisfying because the book is being published in the US, Canada and Europe;
How many book store and library browsers and buyers will view it, and some will study it and imagine its story and some will buy it, and sitting on a coffee table, no one will fail to stare at it.
