The CAFRA individual permit was granted to the OG North End Development LLC on 3/18/21 by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection.
We don’t know why the HOA indicated otherwise at the 11/27 HOA meeting or why there was no public notice when it occurred.
The permit is addressed to: c/o Mr. Joel Brudner/Mr. William Gannon, 801 East Main Street, Belmar, NJ 07719.
Blogfinger has obtained the 7 page report.
The description says:
This document authorizes the construction of a mixed-use development consisting of a 5-story 40 room hotel, two multi- family 3-4 story buildings containing 39 dwelling units, 10 detached 2.5 story single family residences, and a first floor retail area, all constructed over an underground parking garage containing 140 spaces. This document also authorizes stormwater management and landscaping.
The permit is signed by Christopher Jones, Manager, Division of Land Resource Protection.
