Jean: I really appreciate your comment because I think quite a few of our readers may be confused as you are. It’s my fault, but that’s the nature of this blog.
Blogfinger’s posts are in chronological order of posting (the most recent on top) so any article posted today has today’s date.
But the content may be a something from the past and could have originally been published at any time before (ie a re-post), and the original date is not always mentioned. Or a post may be seen for the first time yet contain content from the past.
Think of us as a gallery rather than a newspaper. There might be a beach scene from Florida posted today which may have been photographed last February. Or it could even be a news report from the past; we try to clarify the dates.
Today’s Sanibel Island scene was posted today, but it was taken several years ago. So we are actually still in the Grove enjoying the fine weather.
But we missed Days last hurrah–there must be a fine milk shake elsewhere in the area available tomorrow. Any suggestions?
Paul at Blogfinger
What are you doing down there? It’s a beautiful day in Ocean Grove, with dolphins cavorting near the surfer’s beach at the north end. You could be walking on sand instead of shells. Also last day in 2021 for an old-fashioned milkshake at Day’s.
