Sure the yellow suit is interesting, but it’s not everything it’s cracked up to be. No this image also tells us something about the broad-minded folks in A. Park.
Maybe we can borrow some mojo from the A.Park crowd and let’s nag the CMA until they grow some wider boundaries and offer a dog park or a dog beach in the Grove. Sure you can take your dog on the beach in the winter, but it is in the prime season that we have huge numbers of dogs–resident and tourist owned.
And here is a musical tribute to the lovely woman in that yellow bathing suit:
THOMAS MATO BLANCHOT
Hey Nancy;
I’m a OG dog owner, and nothing annoys me more then people who don’t pick up after their dogs. A dog park would drastically reduce the problem of the FEW people who are disrespectful and expect others to pick up after them. Dog owners who care enough to bring their furry friends to a dog park almost always care for and respect the park. Most people who go to a dog park live in that same community and treat the park like it’s their own back yard. They self police the park and make sure it’s clean and park goers follow the rules.
It’s a social environment for dogs and people and always a great addition to any community. It also cuts back on dogs walking through the neighborhood and peeing on your little strip of grass.
OG is an ideal place for a dog park—-long overdue!
We already have problems with people not picking up after their dogs, why would we want to welcome dog excrement onto the beach?
