c. Signs of the times. We were driving through Jackson, NJ when we saw a sign that said, “We love our seniors.” So we thought that they were friendly to the elderly, but the next line said, “Class of 2020.”
D. Accident on Main Avenue. Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Coverage by our woman-in-the-street Jean Bredin. An auto heading north on Pennsylvania Avenue ran the stop sign an hit a motorcyclist heading east on Main. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported:
d. A terrific produce store with small crowds is Matt’s on Rt. 71 in Wall near the Belmar Marina. Just take Memorial Drive, cross the bridge and then turn left by the Dairy Queen. It’s on the left about a mile up the road on the left. Sometimes they get low, but usually they have a wide a variety of fresh produce. Trucks show up regularly with deliveries.

There have been some articles in the New York Times concerning wearing masks. 1) 5 Rules to Live by During a Pandemic – 2) When 511 Epidemiologists Expect to Fly, Hug and do 18 other Everyday Activities Again. There was another on singing. I believe it was When Can I Sing. They all recommend wearing a mask – and singing in a choir – probably not a good idea. Seems like a small price to pay to keep all of us safe .
