Why do we need to be reminded?

Sandy was one of the worst events ever to hit the Jersey Shore. It was historic and it changed everything. It’s effects on people and places are still evident and profound.
In addition, from a photographic point of view, there were so many images taken at that time that were never seen, that I want to share them. All of you Blogarians are welcome to send us memorable shots well. The fact that the event occurred in 2012 doesn’t diminish the impact of the storm photographs. We still see images of the Civil War, by Matthew Brady, displayed in magazines, museum shows and galleries to this day.
Finally, I need no justification for what I put on Blogfinger other than these are things that are meaningful to me.
