Ocean Grove. By Bob Bowné. Nothing obvious here.
Shoreline
By Charles Pierre
I have always lived
on this shifting threshold,
where land steps off
into enigmatic water,
where the sea heaves
with brute physicality,
its surge disruptive
of every word,
the obvious always
made otherwise,
the measure changing
with the weather,
and sense upset by
the scattering winds.
