We have begun advertising for the event. Fliers will appear in store windows in the Grove. We also have begun or will begin ads in the Coaster, Asbury Park Press, NextDoor.com, Yardsalesearch.com, Eventcrazy.com, Central Jersey.com, OG Chamber of Commerce, and others to be announced.

But the best way to promote the sale is by word of mouth, so for those of you who are planning to visit or be sellers, please tell your friends. The more who participate and who visit, the more successful the event will be.

Let us know if you want us to email you a photo file of the flier to use for emailing friends, groups, etc. to help promote the Sale. Just drag it from the email we send you onto your desktop. Then you can drag and drop into emails to others.

You can also tell your friends to go to http://www.blogfinger.net and click on the Yard Sale tab at the top of the page. That is where the list of sellers resides.

Those who are interested in helping us promote the Sale, think of places where you might post one of our fliers, such as church or organization bulletin boards, businesses near the Grove, or other such places. You can pick up a flier at Cheese on Main, 53 Main Avenue, in beautiful downtown Ocean Grove.

I was at the Mother Ship today and found that the staff in Code and Construction are prepared to give you the $5.00 price for a permit; just check the “group” box.
