We have begun our list of sellers. It’s not to early to jump on the band wagon. The bigger the list gets, the more enthusiasm there will be for this amazing neighborhood event.
For now just send us your name, address and cross street. Name is optional. We like names to know who is participating and for communication purposes.
Email your info to Blogfinger@verizon.net. Your name and email address will not be shown. You can add the sale items later.

SESAME STREET:
At 8 am this morning, most cars were fixed in place in their snow emergency locations. No one had parked where there were snow emergency signs or on the north sides. The streets were all cleared of snow, but there were piles of snow along the curbs and around the cars. Nevertheless, anyone who wanted to get out could do so.
I thought it would be fine to start parking on the empty sides of the streets, something which I have done before early, out of common sense.
But a few people said that they didn’t know when it would be OK to park on the empty side of the streets. I called Lt. Zarro who said that once the plowing was over, the emergency parking restrictions were also over. No plowing would be done later to clear the peripheries.
And then I read one of the signs, and it said: “NO PARKNG THIS SIDE WHEN STREETS ARE SNOW COVERED.”—-
So there it is, in red and white, plain as day. When the snow is cleared, you can park anywhere—although you may have to take a little off the sides.
I guess if there is some uncertainty about more snow you might have to stay put for awhile, but this morning, it was quite apparent that the emergency was over and out.
