I contacted the relative who provided the picture. Her response was: “I think it was 1944 as my father was overseas in the Army”.
Based upon a number of 1944 responses that was likely the year.
I always remember my mother saying she lost her roller skates in that storm. 44 for sure
9/14/44…had next day off from school,,took pictures in morning, went swimming in afternoon.
