Hello Blogfinger,
“Coolest thing I saw today was the British themed menu at Burbelmaiers.
Ocean Elmo”
Ocean Elmo, Blogfinger reporter.
Editors note: Thank Elmo. Did you spot anybody playing “rumpy-pumpy” in the back seat of a Triumph Spitfire? And did anyone ask you to “bugger off.” Cause if they did, “bollocks” would be a good response.
I have yet to figure out why we need a British car show in the Grove. Do the Brits have anything to do with the history of our town? A horse and buggy parade would be better for OG and more fun, watching the Chamber of Commerce officials picking up piles of horse doody on Main Avenue. Or how about a Founder’s Day where we could all dress up like Stokes and arrest girls in immodest summer clothes. And we could set up tents all over town and play hide-go-seek.
And here is a link to our 2014 photo gallery on this subject:

And here is my favorite British car show photo (2011)
Regarding this photo, this is what I had to say to Rich, our reporter:
“Thanks Rich. This is one of my favorite British Car Show photos (2011 edition) when Mrs. Brown’s lovely daughter showed up on Main Avenue and attracted more attention than any of those MG’s or Bentleys. Wouldn’t she look great in your rumble seat?”

Nice boot.
How many car shows are held in small towns? They belong on open fields where you can rev up the engines and maybe take it for a spin around a track.
The British car show is the best car show that Ocean Grove presents.
