Paul..I believe the first mate also committed the Ocean Avenue murder, (in Bradley Beach of course), and is shown her escaping his adulterous entanglement AND returning to the scene of the murder crime via paddle board…..
Bob I love the back story. Keep them coming. Since the paddle guy is the father, it is appropriate to call him the first mate.
I remember once when a body was found in a car trunk on Ocean Avenue, but luckily for the GRove’s reputation, the murder was committed in Bradley Beach. However, unlike your story, there was no photo op then. —Paul
Paul: If yellow journalism is about sensationalism, then I’m your guy. Here is the back story for the photo:
That guy paddling used to be the first mate of the ship until the captain found out that his wife was carrying the mate’s baby. Being discovered, the first mate was has just made his escape and is seeking refuge, right here, on the shores of Ocean Grove…..and……… 🙂
The photo is lovely. Are you a romantic? I think you are, but just in case you are not, and you were thinking “boats” or “fishing”, the music was chosen to bring it—i.e. romance..—
Thanks for all your marvelous work sent to Blogfinger for distribution to Bangladesh, Madagascar, and other countries that visit us including those romantics in Italy, France and New Jersey..
