By Jean Bredin, Blogfinger staff reporter/photographer:
Today, returning from North Jersey, Jack and I pondered the obvious…”Will we get a parking spot?.” It was midday, sunny and gorgeous. What are the odds?
Pulling up to our house, a car parked out front appeared to be in transition. Are they coming or going? We weren’t 100% sure if they were packing up or unpacking the car. We asked, and they said they were leaving.
We also noticed another car doubled parked with directional on, waiting for what appeared to be the chance to take that spot. Jack spoke to the driver, who indeed advised he was waiting for the spot. “Riding high in April, shot down in May.”*
But, he wanted to know if we lived there. “Yes,” Jack said.
“Then you can have that spot.” he said, “I can find another.”
“Back on top in June!”
Just wanted to point out there are good Samaritans in this world.”

“That’s life (that’s life) that’s what people say
You’re riding high in April
Shot down in May
But I know I’m gonna change that tune
When I’m back on top, back on top in June” *
What a rare event. Glad you were blessed with such a considerate parker, Jean.
