It was 5:30 pm over at the tent village. Probably dinner time. Breezes were blowing and it was relatively quiet….except for Gordon Turk rehearsing inside the Great Auditorium. The Hope Jones organ is a powerful magnificent instrument, but now, with the windows and doors closed, its sound fit right into the mood. A few kids were in the vicinity, but no adults. There is a special ending. This is how it felt:
