21 volunteers from the Beautification Project show up at the head of Broadway early in the morning 6/9/16,   to plant 75 flats, red/white/blue. They are taking a tea and cookies break.  They would prefer mimosas,* but according to one of them, “We can’t because we are Methodists.”   (*Champagne and orange juice)   ©

Naysayers at the beach. Do we really need all this negativity? If someone swims at night, who’s going to know?  And how do you dive in Ocean Grove?  How about a sign of positivity:   “Put on a happy face”  or “Send in the clowns.”
